Melba Toast is presenting a children's program for
The Nashville Public Library's Summer Reading Program.
"Cowgirl Melba" will talk about how cowgirls and cowboys lived and
worked in the old west and today. Activities include a western sing-a-long,
story reading and story telling, dramatic play, yodeling and hog, chicken and
cattle calling. Program is designed for ages 3-6, but all ages are welcome.

Melba Toast and her Tomato Pickers
will be performing at the Tomato Festival in East Nashville, TN.
Saturday, 8/11/07: The Tomato Festival, on Woodland Avenue in East Nashville
(right next to the Post Office). We will be performing a 30 minute show,
but do not have a time slot yet. It will be sometime between 2-11 pm.
Melba will sing her signature song, "Tomato Harvest Girl",
which will be featured on a compilation CD of tomato songs,
which will be available for sale at the festival!
